We are getting married!!

Wes asked me to marry him! Yay! :) We decided on January 10th, 2009. I know it's soon but I've been around tons of weddings and I don't want to be stressed out waiting forever. Plus our honeymoon cruise will be cheaper in January haha! I have NO idea who I'm going to pick to do my pictures but you can bet that's the first thing I'm going to do! Here are some pictures of my gorgeous ring that he picked out all by himself :)

They chose to see each other before the wedding.

Vince had golf cupcakes instead of a cake!

He said "If I'm going to be kissing her this much, I'm gonna need some of this" haha :o)

Family Reunion

I've been pretty sick the last week so I haven't gotten around to doing a whole lot, so thank goodness for laptops and chicken noodle soup! Here are a few pictures of the kids from our family reunion in Weatherford :o)

Chris & Brandi are getting married this Friday! Chris is in the Army so we had to take their engagement pictures the week before their wedding. They wanted their son Gavin in a few and I'm glad they did, I just wish we could have gotten him to smile a little more! I'll post Brandi's bridal pictures after their wedding. Enjoy!

Yes, yes, yes... I know. So far I have really sucked at keeping up with this blogging thing. But I've had several customers ask for a blog so they can keep up with my recent work. Ask no more, I'm totally committed to it this time! I'm finally learning how to navigate around the site to make it look better. Like my banner? I was so proud I made the sunshine all by myself :o) So here's the first of many updates this week - previews from my last 3 weddings, Mandy & Michael, Angie & James, and Kelly & Lexie. Scarborough girls

So last Sunday I had 3 photo shoots. The first 2 went GREAT! Then on the last one of the day... I was just walking along with my camera not watching where I was stepping and sprained the CRAP out of my ankle. WARNING: Watch where you are stepping on the Tech campus! I still don't know if it is broken or not because the swelling is too bad to tell anything in an xray. All I know is it hurts REALLY bad and it's purple all the way up to my toesies. I should have been staying off it all week but I didn't, and now it's even worse. I had to take pictures! Anyway, I'll let you all know for sure what is wrong when I find out (hopefully tomorrow), but until then I'm supposed to stay off it and keep it elevated. Boring! Here's some pictures of the Scarborough girls that I took before I hurt myself last Sunday! Enjoy!

That water was SO cold! They were cracking up putting their feet in the water :o)

I've got nothing to do but edit pictures the rest of the afternoon because it's freezing cold outside so look for more soon! I still have the Archers, the Edwards, the Marins, Jacob & Kathleen, Clay & Kourtney, and the Setliff wedding to post!

Yay for a new website!

So for those of you that have been with me from the beginning can clearly see what an improvement the new website is! I'm really excited about it! I intend on posting sneak peeks in this blog of photo shoots I've done so you guys can see the my new stuff. Leave comments, they are fun! I've got several photo shoots that I've done this week and more this weekend so hopefully within the next few days I'll have some pictures up! I'm going to start a newsletter too.
